A great cake recipe for any occasion:

1. cut the apricots into very small pieces and pour the apricot brandy. Cover and let stand for about 2 hours.

2. Add 200 g of marzipan paste and knead everything together well.

3. knead in 100 g sifted powdered sugar, form 2 cm thick rolls from the mixture and cut 1.5 cm thick slices.

4. melt the cooking chocolate in a water bath, dip each marzipan piece in it and place it on parchment paper (maybe reposition it so that the confection does not get feet). Garnish with walnut halves, place the confection in small paper sleeves if possible and keep well sealed.
