For the apple marzipan cake, separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff. Beat the yolks, powdered sugar and soft butter until fluffy. Stir in marzipan well. Mix in flour, almonds and baking powder well.

Peel the apples, cut into small cubes and mix in. Carefully fold in the snow. Pour the dough into a greased and floured springform pan (26 cm). Bake in the oven at 180 °C top/bottom heat for about 1 hour.

Sprinkle the apple marzipan cake with powdered sugar as desired.
