For the sausage snails, first steep the sausages in hot water for about 5 minutes (should not boil, so that the sausages do not burst).

Cut off about 2 cm from each sausage for the head of the snail. Bevel this piece a little on one long side so it stands up.

Then cut off about 1 cm for the middle part. Cut the remaining sausage in half lengthwise and cut it crosswise so that the snail shell can be formed from it.

First, pin the center piece to the head piece with the cut surfaces facing outward using a piece of spaghetti. Then place the cut piece for the snail shell all around and pin it down as well.
